Our planet is in an existential crisis.

Obviously, a bold dynamic approach for achieving an easily, immediately attainable solution is urgently needed.

 The "Hydrogen/Oxygen Heat Engine" (HOX-HE)
The idea proposed below, arguably offers just such a solution to replace all fossil fuels for boiling water to generate electricity.

The Beginnings of this Website:

The origins of The HOX-HE idea comes from my own visceral experiences as a "lost wax" sculptor with electroplating gold, which uses electrolysis and subsequently using the same process to create hydrogen and oxygen fuel for melting and soldering metals.

After more than two decades of work and study it became clear that Water and the Electromagnetic Spectrum have a unique and complex relationship.

The Hydrogen – Water Paradigm

A New Paradigm or Vexing Enigma?
Can we get more energy Out than In?

Just as the water in the human body, electrolysis requires an electrolyte in the water in order to conduct an electrical current.

Amazingly, both abundant seawater and unwanted wastewater also contain the appropriate electrolytes, making them perfect for electrolysis.

Using Hydrogen & Oxygen (HOX)
as fuel to make steam.

My continued work in the field of metallurgy, lead me to purchase a HydroFlux Welder, (a self contained Electrolysis-Hydrogen soldering torch). The controllable flame is capable of reaching a maximum operating temperature of 3,200°C (5,800°F). The company's website cautions jewelers to be careful not to melt the jewelry they’re working on.

After working with this device, I became aware of the incredible potential of hydrogen and oxygen's (HOX) powerful combustion for boiling water to make steam. 85% of the world’s electricity currently is produced with 8,000 steam turbines.

How to Leverage Hydrogen's
3,200°C-5,800°F Flame

What was needed was a method for storing, transferring, and prolonging the radiation at a reduced heat

Igneous Rocks have been used since prehistoric times for transferring heat. However, since each rock is different, a Uniformly Cast Magma (Lava) Ingot would permit full automation.

The Earth itself uses Magma to store and transfer its heat.

After 20 years, it became obvious, there are more possibilities for HOX Fuel, than even the "Global Hydrogen Community" are envisioning.

Recent NEW Technologies

Recently, several new developments, including
“High Temperature Electrolysis (HTE)”,
“Microbial Electrolysis Cell (MEC)”
and
"Microbial Electrolysis Carbon Capture (MECC)"
have made electrolysis vastly more efficient.

Imagine being able to power the world's electrical requirements from Humankind's own wastewater?

Energy and Wastewater account for 88% of Global Greenhouse Gases (GHG) emissions

Germany and Hydrogen

The German government seems to be embarking on a vigorous €9 billion hydrogen energy program. They are building industrial scale electrolysis units and converting thousands of kilometers of natural gas pipeline for hydrogen gas. They’ve already apportioned another €40 billion just to buy out the coal industry in 40 years.

New hydrogen fuel cell technologies have now enabled the German Navy to build a super high-tech hydrogen power submarine which could easily also be a prototype spaceship (see videos section).

Japan And Hydrogen

The Japanese, equally are exploring hydrogen for their cars and transportation needs. They are testing the building of hydrogen filling stations each one supplied from their own built-in electrolysis unit.

Europe And Hydrogen

Here is a link to The European Hydrogen Association with 21 national organization members. Many projects involve High Temperature Electrolysis and Hydrogen Fuel cell technology.

None of the European projects appear to use Hydrogen-Oxygen as a Heat Engine to work with existing electrical steam plant facilities.

The World And Hydrogen

Whole new industries would be created with a reliable supply of abundant, safe and easily affordable electricity.

All steam generated electricity would adopt HOX-Heat Engines for heating. Phase two would convert to Fuel Cells (no moving parts) which are extremely scaleable.

Billions of people could be taken out of poverty with access to electricity provided by small scale, village sized microbial electrolysis cells. Imagine isolated villages being able to create electrical power from their own waste water.

What does our symbol represent?

The Ouroboros & The Yin/Yang.

The snake eating its own tail, The Ouroboros, represents the ability to reuse the Hydrogen atom. As in The Hydrogen-Water Paradigm, once it releases its energy, the atom rejoins oxygen and returns to water.

The Yin/Yang is a well-known Chinese and Taoist symbol for unity and duality, balance and movement. The Hydrogen-Water Paradigm is the very embodiment of the Yin/Yang.
